The coronavirus has completely upset the Hungarian savings and investment market, and digitalisation has swiftly conquered places few would have expected before. Online customer service is now an everyday matter, and even those above 60 are feeling increasingly at home in virtual space. But what will remain of all this after the COVID-19 pandemic? Will automated service and DPM continue to gain ground? Or will nothing replace a good private banker?
In this virus-ridden world, Portfolio’s Investment, Wealth and Savings (IWS) conference, took place on 14th April, it attempted to answer these questions and outline a framework of the investment, wealth management and savings markets in 2021 for investment professionals, private banking consultants and salespeople with the help of renowned domestic and foreign asset managers and market experts.
At the conference, Bálint Fischer, Dorsum’s Chief Business Development Officer held a presentation about whether COVID accelerated the digital transformation of the investment market.
