Head of Product

In this job you will:

  • Establishing product vision: Representing the product vision both outward to the market and inward within the organization.
  • Crafting and executing product strategy: Developing, reviewing, and implementing the product strategy.
  • Setting the product roadmap: Managing the strategic and operational roadmap of the product in close collaboration with market players, existing customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring product-market fit: Collaborating closely with business development and marketing to establish and maintain a strong product-market fit.
  • Supporting product marketing: Developing a consistent and credible product marketing strategy in close cooperation with the marketing team.
  • Establish an efficient product organization: Continuous improvement of product development methodologies and internal processes, enhancing the efficiency of the product development process.
  • Accelerating product innovation: Encouraging creativity within the team and exploring new technologies and market trends.
  • Exploring product partnerships: maintaining relationships with existing partners and exploring new partnership opportunities.
  • Leading and building the product team

About the product:

  • A two-product product family with the aim of providing financial institutions with an end-to-end ecosystem for wealth management activities, emphasizing a high customer experience and a high level of digitalization.
  • Used by numerous financial institutions in nearly 10 European countries.

Wealth Platform:

  • A B2B product designed for financial institutions.
  • Users include the bank’s investment advisors and wealth managers.
  • A web-based wealth management solution deeply integrated into the financial institution’s ecosystem.
  • An end-to-end wealth management support tool for investment advice, wealth planning, wealth evaluation, and risk assessment.

Wealth Portal:

  • A B2B2C product for financial institutions.
  • Users include the bank’s end customers (consumers).
  • Available as a web and mobile application with significantly lower integration compared to the Wealth Platform.

You are the right candidate if you have strong:

  • Communication skills: Playing an active role as a front for both internal stakeholders and the market. Being capable of representing the product on all fronts.
  • Efficiency-driven mindset: Being able to establish an organizational framework and ownership centric culture that efficiently utilizes resources.
  • Forecasting and measuring skills: Having a clear vision of the future and the ability to realistically measure progress toward that future in the present.
  • Leadership skills: Leading and motivating a diverse, highly skilled 10+ people team.
  • Prioritization skills: There will always be more tasks than available resources. It’s important to efficiently allocate available resources based on clear objectives.
  • Proven track record in Product Development & related product mindset: The ability to listen customer needs and transform them into our product initiatives on sustainable way  
  • Roadmapping skills: The ability to translate the product vision into concrete roadmap elements and to transparently communicate this roadmap to both the market and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking skills: As the top product leader, one must be able to develop a credible product strategy that goes beyond the operational level.
  • Technical skills: While there are many talented technical individuals in the product team, as a leader, understanding the high-level technical aspects of product development is crucial.
  • User-centric approach: The user always comes first. Understanding the user and being able to think from their perspective is essential.


  • Have 5+ years of senior B2B product experience.
  • Have experience with financial institution clients.
  • Confident and fluent in English.
  • Have relevant international working experience.
  • Have relevant experience managing people and leading teams.
  • Have relevant experience in Product development & management
  • Hold a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Have 5+ years of professional experience in banking or finance.
  • Enjoy tackling challenges and complex tasks.
  • Can communicate effectively at all levels of seniority.

Further advantages:

  • Product experience within the financial institution (FI) sector.
