Dorsum is among the ‘Best Managed Companies’ for the third time

The first time is special. The second is an unexpected joy. The third… business as usual? While some things may follow that pattern, when it comes to Deloitte Private’s “Best Managed Companies” award, there’s no “BAU” here. This year, once again, it took serious preparation and exhaustive yet thought-provoking workshops to produce the application that earned Dorsum its “Best Managed” designation for the third time, as voted by an independent jury.

To achieve and maintain competitiveness, private companies in Hungary must also adapt to the dynamic changes in the market. Deloitte Private’s „Best Managed Companies” mentoring program has been helping participating companies do just that for three years now.

Dr. Gábor Kóka, lead partner for Deloitte Private in the Central European region, said: “The [mentoring] program helps company owners and management identify strengths and areas requiring attention, and based on these, assists in developing strategies and day-to-day operations. The workshops led by Deloitte experts provide an opportunity to step away from daily pressures and take a broader look at the company’s operations through the lens of international leadership practices. According to our experience, this self-assessment often results in new initiatives or even a rethinking of the business model.”

During the program, an independent, professional jury decided which companies would receive the “Best Managed” designation, following the methodology of the international Best Managed Companies program. The jury included Gergely Baksay, Executive Director of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB); Dr. Sára Csillag, Vice-Rector for Academic Development at Budapest Business School; Ferenc Rolek, Vice-President of the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (MGYOSZ); Richárd Végh, CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange; and from OTP Bank, László Wolf, board member and deputy CEO, and Zoltán Tóthmátyás, managing director.

Mariann Mészáros, CEO of Dorsum, and Miklós Miszkuly, CPO, proudly accepted the award. According to Mariann, this honor is a recognition of the entire Dorsum team, as their outstanding expertise and hard work made the achievement possible.
