The largest three-party merger of the Hungarian banking sector is progressing well: the merger of MKB and Budapest Bank took place on March 31, and the next big step will be the merger of the Takarék Group in May 2023. In parallel with the integration of IT systems, the superbank is also working on renewing its services: in the area of investment, they are planning to introduce “unique” mobile applications and solutions, they are experimenting with new technologies, and the bank is more open to blockchain technology too. The Portfolio journalist interviewed Ilona Nádoryné Viga, Business Unit Director – Securities Services Products of Dorsum and Brezina Szabolcs, Managing Director of Magyar Bankholding, about the biggest implementation and migration project in Dorsum’s history so far.
