The fintech revolution has started, albeit a few years behind the revolution in everyday banking, also in the asset management and private banking segments, and we can expect overwhelming changes in these. Over the next five years, the incumbents may find themselves pitted against bigtechs, as well. Whereas ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing is becoming mainstream in Western Europe and the United States, it piques the interest only of young people at best in Hungary. Daily banking has become entirely depersonalised, but private banking is still far from such a state therefore there’s a need for digital communication channels that combine personal and digital services.
